Sprung Traction
The STE Sprung Traction device is used to measure the rotational resistance (traction) of sports surfaces. Traction is a critical player/surface interaction which plays a significant role in player performance and injury risk. A spring housed in the device applies a consistent and repeatable force to the surface and rotational resistance of a studded plate against the test surface is measured via a digital torque gauge.
